Unfortunately, Amazon chose NSD to deliver my large package, and it has been the worst experience! So much has gone wrong starting with Amazon saying to expect a delivery on a certain day when I was at work, so I had my parents wait around all day, but no delivery.
I do online chat with so-called customer service only for them to have no info and just say they would have someone from the local location call me in 1-2 business days. They never called back and instead updated my tracking status to having the delivery scheduled for 5 days later. Scheduled with who? They never called me back to make that arrangement, not to mention its going to come late now.
On top of all this, I figured out during this process that Amazon led me to believe that my delivery would just come to me when expected, but it turned out that if I didnt hunt down the delivery companys customer service info by Googling it, I would have never known I had to schedule the delivery.
Delivery hasnt happened yet, but based on experience so far, I anticipate more problems and terrible service. AMAZON, STOP USING THIS SHIPPING COMPANY!

Ordered a desk on Amazon In July. Desk was shipped with NSD.
Said it shipped from Seatlle, Wa to terminal in Akron, Ohio in 4 days. Sat at the terminal for 10 days. No call and no show on my delivery date. Called NSD at least 20 times and couldnt get through to anyone.
Had to cancel the order and waite for my $2500 to be returned. Then, called Amazon to complain. They told me to reorder the desk and it would not ship with NSD again. Well, it did.
Once again, no desk delivered. a month later, still no desk. Then, the company text me and had an automated message (8/18/22) stating the desk will be delivered 8/19/22 in the afternoon. Didnt schedule with me at all.
And you guess it, wasnt delivered. This company is a JOKE. DO NOT USE THEM. If amazon or another big company uses them, complain and cancel the order.
Lets put this company out of business together by not utilizing them. I have never seen such a disrespectful company in my life that should not be in business, but NSD is that company.

Package at termial for over 2 weeks
Does this company even comprehend the words "Customer Service"? One, you can't get in touch with them by phone - no one answers.
Two, live chat is sporatic at best. Three, even if you do get in touch with someone via phone or live chat, you will not receive a return call from the terminal. I'm pretty sure my local terminal (Olyphant, PA) Is run by either children or mutants. What a crock of *** with these people.
I could have driven to the terminal 1000 times over and had my package in hand. I would NEVER use or recommend this trucking company to any of my fellow colleagues.
THEY SUCK. PERIOD.

I ordered a patio door from Lowes, that was picked up for delivery 7/1 [from Michigan]. was in Tampa by 7/2, sat there for a week & now for some odd reason went to Orlando [I live west of Tampa].
Cannot get a response from NSD, Lowes has no idea what is wrong but they submitted a ticket last week for update - received nothing. Lowes submitted a ticket this morning to investigate what went wrong & when I will receive. it was a 1-3 day delivery window, I had my contractor schedule to install 3 days after it was supposed to be delivered & had to cancel him night before. The tracking was incorrect from the beginning but after contacting Lowes, they were able to get me correct tracking.
Unfortunately, tracking is worthless, if no one seems to know where my shipment is.
I WOULD NEVER, EVER ACCEPT ANOTHER DELIVERY W/NSD. I work in supply chain & do understand all the current issues with transit times, but this is not that - its PURE INCOMPETENCE.

On Nov. 15, 2021, I ordered two Dewalt generators from Home Depot, valued at $1,800.00, weighing 175 lbs each as Christmas gifts for my sons.
I had the option to either have the generators delivered to the store for pick-up or have them delivered directly to my home. On Nov. 23, I received an e-mail and a phone call stating that delivery would arrive on Nov. 24th, between the hours of 12 pm and 3 pm and a half hour courtesy phone call before delivery.
I sat outside with my wife until 12:30 pm waiting on delivery, at which time we went into our house, to check my computer for any updates. At approximately 12:55 pm I received an e-mail from NSD stating that delivery was made at 12:42 pm, and never received a pre-delivery courtesy call, or observed a truck parked in front of our home. I checked property, No delivery was made. We immediately called NSD to locate our missing delivery and were unable to get in touch with a live person, after being on hold for fifteen minutes, their recording states that they'll call you back.
At 11:00 pm an NSD representative returned our call, but was of no help. After approximately two dozen phone calls, over a period of several weeks, we were contacted by Barbara, from NSD's, "extra mile team, " who stated that she contacted the terminal located in Farmingdale N.Y., whose driver had taken a photo of the house where the delivery was made, showing the boxes in front of a yellow house with red brick. When I described my house as having tan siding with with black shutters, she googled earth our location and responded "OOOPPS." She then asked if we had just remolded the front of our house in the past two weeks, we responded with an indignant No. At this point she stated that NSD had 72 hrs.
to investigate and resolve our missing delivery complaint. After receiving no call backs from NSD, and no resolution to our problem, we re-ordered two new generators from Home Depot on Dec, 3, and had them delivered directly to the store. Home Depot delivered them to our home on Dec. 11th.
Home Depot, Citi bank and the Better Business Bureau are now Investigating NSD with regard to their apparently fraudulent delivery practices. We have not been contacted by NSD since Dec. 2.
As of Jan 24, 2022, which is two months to the day on which I did not receive my delivery from NSD, I received a letter from Home Depot credit services stating that they have credited my account in full. AVOID NSD AT ALL COST!

How did you eventually get the issue resolved? I am currently 2.5 days into the exact problem. Well my tool box is only 72" so that is different but ordered from home depot and I am being told the same things you were
